Payloader Falls into Canal in Western Mass. →

A crane had to be used Feb. 23 to remove a piece of heavy construction equipment that fell into a canal in Holyoke the day before. The payloader went into the Lower Leval Canal along Water Street in the Flats of Holyoke on Feb. 22 in the afternoon. Holyoke Police Sgt. Richard Stuart told 22News that the accident took place at around 3:00 P.M. The driver of the payloader was able to get out safely, Stuart said.  Click for more...


Sarens Orders A Package of 18 New Demag All-Terrain Cranes →

Long standing Terex Cranes customer and valued business partner, Sarens will add 18 new Demag all terrain cranes to its fleet: eight AC 100-4L, three AC 130-5 and seven AC 220-5. The new cranes will join a fleet of more than 1,500 machines, including about 500 Terex and Demag cranes. “We already have a number of new Demag all-terrain cranes in our fleet. The Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) announces that it has completed all requirements for full NCCER endorsement as a provider of Rigger, Signal Person and Mobile Crane Operator Certifications and Credentials. “These certifications complement SEAA/NCCER Ironworker Craft Training, as many ironworkers must also be qualified to perform rigging, signaling, or crane operation tasks,” said Tim Eldridge, SEAA Craft Training and Assessment Coordinator and President of Education Services Unlimited.  Click for more...

Moore began his career at Link-Belt in 1977, accepting a position as an associate design engineer in the Tower Gantry Crane Product Group at Link-Belt in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
