To be a top 5 Link-Belt Crane Dealer requires a dedicated team, and the foundation of the team are the service technicians. Pinnacle Cranes held a service truck audit/inspection on May 17. All 13 technicians were present, nine field service technicians and four in-house shop technicians with 330 years of combined experience. They were asked to clean and organize their trucks in anticipation of the event.

Vibrant music provided by a DJ kept a nice upbeat tempo throughout the event. Breakfast consisted of coffee, orange juice, fruit and breakfast sandwiches provided by Jason's Deli.

Each truck was judged by the other service technicians and judges, including Jeff Campbell of AME Inc. in Ft. Mill, S.C., and Keith Ernandez of United Infrastructure Group in Great Falls, S.C. They looked over all of the field service trucks and judged them based on criteria from Pinnacle Cranes.

Prizes for the winners included two tickets to the NASCAR All-Star Race; $100 gift certificate at a local steak house and a model Link-Belt RTC-8080. Even those that did not win were given Subway gift cards.
