Traylor Bros. Inc. took delivery of the Liebherr LR 1400 SX at ConExpo 2026.

The LR 1400 SX will join more than 10 Liebherr cranes in the Traylor fleet including the HS 885, HS 895, HS 8200, LR 1300 and LR 1400. The Traylor team noted the Liebherr LR 1400 SX was the ideal addition to their fleet due to the load chart best fitting their needs and the immense amount of reliability required for a crane within that class.

Over the last 80 years, the Indiana-based company has developed into highly adaptable construction organization with a proven capability to tackle difficult applications including bridge, underground and marine projects. The company is now under the leadership of the third generation of Traylors, who are committed to passing on their grandfather's and father's values and traditions to the next generation of leaders while preserving the company's unique culture.

Reliability First

The Liebherr LR 1400 SX crawler crane is ideal for heavy lifting operations and long boom configurations, as the load capacities can be increased through the derrick equipment and counter weight, while the range of applications is expanded. The precise adjustment of the counterweight with VarioTray, along with the position monitoring, ensures safe and flexible crane operation, according to Liebherr.

The crane also offers a self-assembly system for independent and quick assembly of the crawler side frames as well as gradient travel aid which allows it to move safely on uneven terrain. With easy access to the cab, a high level of comfort and high service availability the LR 1400 SX is a reliable, safe and efficient option for Traylor Bros. Inc., according to Liebherr.
